The whole universe is guided by the supreme spiritual power of which we are often cautioned to name solely as God. God as the Almighty attracts immense faith and reverence from billions of people on this earth. We worship God in following our religion as this helps us walk the path of truthfulness and righteousness. The life of a person has often not been a bed of roses. It can be full of ups and downs. The downs of life which manifest themselves in the forms of various unpleasant eventualities need to be faced with unflinching faith and courage and equipped with the full armour of God in order to overcome the pain and sorrow produced due to adversities. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows."
