The Aggravation of The Soul (13.9.11)

“The aggravation of the soul is an area of concern to God;

should be an area of concern to man.

The aggravation of the soul shrieks a note of warning to the spirit.

The aggravation of the soul is a subject of reports outside the mind of man.

The aggravation of the soul speaks of sensitivities not dealt with,

of depths which are yet to see the light,

of plumb-lines of potential righteousness which still tend to bend and sway.

The aggravation of the soul requires a concerted effort by he who would have his spirit in control,

by he who may insist on silence by his lips while annoyance casts temptation for an outburst,

by he who would be an overcomer both in spirit and in deed.

The aggravation of the soul may have many triggers of irritation,

may have defensive signs of insult,

may have conflicts bred of culture,

may have the taking of offence with recurring recall,

may have a failure to erase when forgiveness is to the fore,

may have misinterpretation which floods and inundates in the absence of understanding,

may have a lack of commonsense which circles wisdom as essential.

The aggravation of the soul can destroy a walk with God,

can hand a victory to the foe of man,

                                             can bring regret without remorse,

can place a shadow before The Son.

The aggravation of the soul can concentrate on trivia,

                                             can ignore the critical.

The aggravation of the soul can supervise the minors,

                                             can overlook the majors.

The aggravation of the soul can be a starting point of a downhill slide,

can continue to gather speed, can be as a snowball on a slope,

can be ignorant of the crevasse which would engulf.

The aggravation of the soul can accumulate the muck ready for a mud slide,

can accumulate emotions until the bursting of the tank,

can address matters with imagined truth under the guise of false confessions,

can save and certify as true that which has blame attached to others.

The aggravation of the soul is a serious condition in the sight of God,

is a serious condition in the sight of the perceptive.

The aggravation of the soul should be serious in the sight of those who would overcome,

should be seriously addressed in order to circumvent the capture of the spirit,

should be the subject of counsel while it is today,

should be set as due for polishing –

so it may it may absorb and reflect without distortion.

The aggravation of the soul is relevant to man in his mortality,

is in condition to be pruned,

is to be brought into subjugation to the spirit of man,

is destined to enhance the ongoing journeying of man,

is destined to be hugged or rejected by God in the future walk of man.”
