The Lifeline to God (12.9.11)

“Numerous are the servants of The Lord.

Numerous are the requests of The Lord.

Numerous are the replies of The Lord.

Numerous are the relationships of The Lord.

Numerous are the invitations of The Lord.

Numerous are the acceptances of The Lord.

Numerous are the interactions of The Lord with man.

For The Lord has adopted the being of man,

                      has singled out each individually,

cares for one as much for all,

counsels each by His Spirit as the need arises,

rebukes each when a future life is threatened,

has set signposts for each life where turning points arise.

For The Lord would see all arriving safely home,

would see the enjoyment of the progress in a journey of freewill,

would see the growth in faith that was not forestalled,

would see the power of testimonies fall upon the head of man,

would see the rejoicing of the angels as the garlands are bestowed,

would see the celebrations as each child of God returns,

would see the acclamations of the saints who are at the welcome.

For The Lord has paved the way with a walk of wonder,

has paved the way with a light before the feet,

has paved the way with reconciliation,

has paved the way with the soul’s redemption,

has paved the way with the bearing of the sins of man,

has paved the way with an offering of grace,

has paved the way for the inheritance of man.

The inheritance of man arises with The Son,

                                      arises from The Father,

arises in the confirmation of The Holy Spirit.

The inheritance of man is as written in the word,

is as originating from the cross,

is as empowered by the empty grave.

The inheritance of man is as promised within God’s new covenant with man.

The new covenant with man is one of reconciliation as it mends a broken relationship,

is one of replacing law with grace,

is one of finding an acceptable sacrifice for sin,

is one of faith with commitment as the basis of directed belief,

is one of repentance with acknowledgement of the sins of the past,

is one of water baptism which cleanses the soul.

The new covenant with man is one of baptism of The Spirit which frees the senses of man for the lifeline to a new beginning.

The lifeline to a new beginning expands the capabilities of man:

                                                    enables the tongue to speak,

                                                    enables the spirit to interpret,

                                                    activates the ears to hear,

                                                    sensitizes the skin to touch,

brings a vision to the eyes,

                                                    allows access to the scent,

                                                    confirms the giftings present,

bestows the gifts implicit in requests.

The lifeline to God is capable of two-way communication.”
