The Plunder of The Soul (23.12.08)

“The bounty of man is garnered where he will.

The bounty of man is supervised by man.

The bounty of man has claim laid to it by man.

The bounty of man contains items of abuse.

The bounty of man contains results of theft.

The bounty of man contains items acquired without good title.

The bounty of man is laid up by pirates who procure at any cost.

The bounty of man is laid up by pirates who treat frontiers as thresholds.

The bounty of man is laid up by pirates who travel to accumulate,

who treat a frontier of a nation as a threshold of a home,

who ransack and carry off the plunder of the soul.

The bounty of man is laid up by pirates who will not return their plunder regardless of entreaty.

The plunder of the soul should not be counted as gain.

The plunder of the soul is not recognized by The Spirit.

The plunder of the soul is hidden with great care.

The plunder of the soul is owned by he who counts.

The plunder of the soul does not bring wealth of honour.

The plunder of the soul speaks of the presence of a pirate.

The plunder of the soul speaks of greed in action,

                                      speaks of roving eyes,

speaks of the covetousness of the soul of man.

The plunder of the soul speaks of scruples long forsworn,

                                      speaks of conspiracies of success,

                                      speaks of rampant disregard.

The plunder of the soul is very rarely viewed,

is hidden in rooms that have a lock,

is counted only in times of solitude.

The plunder of the soul possesses he who holds it,

                                      destroys he who acquires it,

has no value in the future world of man.

The soul of man often seeks to plunder,

                           often seeks to hoard,

often seeks to treasure the plunder of the soul.

The soul of man can be taught a lesson,

                           can be taken under reins,

can be checked and then reformed.

The pirate of the plunder can become the gentle man of God.

The pirate of the plunder can become the committed man of God.

The pirate of the plunder can become the sacrificial temple of his God.”
