The Divine Commentary on The Book of Ezekiel - Ch 25 (7.11.11)

Eze 25:1   The word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Divine Commentary –

“My servants trial and test in the attempts of man to discover the will of God.

My servants sometimes act as if the will of God is as an island in the sea awaiting discovery,

is as an island with inviting shores,

is as an island with unknown content in the hinterland,

is as an island where water lies in waiting for a search of thirst,

is as an island uninhabited by man,

is as an island which is always difficult for man to find.

My servants often overlook,

                    often forget to use,

                    often forget to access,

often forget to tender for confirmation,

the wisdom inherent in the will of man being subject to the will of God,

being in companionship with My Spirit,

being in a checkout which rings the register of God.”

Eze 25:2   "Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants often neither sift nor sieve all which forms the input to their lives,

take in the spurious and the gloss placed for attraction,

assimilate the rumour and the lie from a heap of discards,

dress up the quest of vanity with words to disguise intent,

preen and pout in mirrors which no longer reflect reality,

scowl at and smudge the answers not met with satisfaction,

linger at the lamp post awaiting change in where the shadows fall.”

Eze 25:3   "Say to the Ammonites, 'Hear the word of the Lord GOD! Thus says the Lord GOD: "Because you said, 'Aha!' against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,

Divine Commentary –

“My servants do not scoff,

are not sceptical of an uttered promise,

                       should not desert their postings,

should not leave on an unbidden holiday at the expense of victory,

                       should not debate the inexact,

should not bring a tale of conflict into the house of God.”

Eze 25:4   "indeed, therefore, I will deliver you as a possession to the men of the East, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants are rewarded for all they say and do –

                                                           the rewards for being wise,

                                                           the rewards for being foolish.

My servants should not enact the invasion of insidiousness which brings false gods to their shores,

false gods which are not sent fleeing home,

false gods which are comforted as a sign of conciliation.

My servants tolerate Satan active on the battlefield,

do not anchor the efforts of their forbears,

do not realise how their faith is watered down by impurities of installation,

of how a homeland is peppered with the seasoning from the imports of the guests.”

Eze 25:5   "And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you shall know that I am the LORD."

Divine Commentary –

“My servants are called to stand before demonic activity,

                                                    before the idols of iniquity,

                                                    before the idolatry of man.

My servants are called to stand and to know the victory,

to stand and to advance against the foe,

to stand and to establish claim arising from a war.”

Eze 25:6   'For thus says the Lord GOD: "Because you clapped your hands, stamped your feet, and rejoiced in heart with all your disdain for the land of Israel,

Divine Commentary –

“My servants shout for the rafters of support,

shout for the protection from the elements,

                       shout for the comfort of enclosure;

                       shout at the coming storm,

shout at the testing of the nations,

shout at the coming destruction buried within the climax.

My servants will hesitate and scurry,

                    will visit and depart,

will stick and stay where they belong.”

Eze 25:7   "indeed, therefore, I will stretch out My hand against you, and give you as plunder to the nations; I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish from the countries; I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am the LORD."

Divine Commentary –

“My servants neither void nor cancel their call to arms,

neither hide nor hinder their force of arms,

neither corrupt nor compromise the validity of their arms.

For the arms of God are the repository for the arming of His servants.

For as He sees His servants armed so will they charge in unison,

so will the yelling of the word of God lay low the resolution of the enemy,

so will the presence of My banner deny the stand of demons,

                                                                                                                   mark and endow with angels,

proclaim and overcome in the presence of the light.

My servants verify the vilifiers,

                    despatch the despots of disdain,

encircle the envelopers with the enlisted entities.

My servants know My sword of conquest,

                    know My truth and light:

those with their authority burnished by My blood once shed upon the earth.

My servants handle well their armour of the battle where the flesh is not at stake.”

Eze 25:8   'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Because Moab and Seir say, 'Look! The house of Judah is like all the nations,'

Divine Commentary –

“My servants take and do not give,

                       seize and do not yield,

                       possess and do not retreat,

                       gather and do not scatter:

                                  in the battle for the soul of man;

                                  in the battle for the spirit’s life;

in the battle where the powers of darkness are to be forced to flee.

My servants claim the spoils of war:

the treasure chests of families complete and bearing fruit,

the treasure chests of testimonies which can now be told and heard,

the treasure chests of memories now fulfilled and can be shared,

the treasure chests of souls now rescued and restored,

the treasure chests prevented from hurling from a cliff,

the treasure chests which were inundated by disease and destined for a pit,

the treasure chests now lifted up into a destiny of light.”

Eze 25:9   "therefore, behold, I will clear the territory of Moab of cities, of the cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kirjathaim.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants are on a journey filled with majesty,

are on a journey of very great significance,

are on a journey where the kingdom of the light clashes with the embitterment of the ages –

                                                                                                                         the totality of evil –

for the eternal destiny of both the spirit and the soul of man.”

Eze 25:10   "To the men of the East I will give it as a possession, together with the Ammonites, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants will witness the imprisonment of Satan,

                                           the destruction of his jurisdiction,

the despatch of all who made him their figurehead of choice.

My servants witness the effects of his lies,

the effects of his plots of power,

the effects of his schemes of debt,

the effects of his oaths of blood,

the effects of his wars against the flesh of man,

the effects of his torturing of man,

the effects of his corrupting of man,

the effects of his depraving of man.

Satan with his cohorts will not yield in the presence with insecurity,

in the presence with embedded sin,

in the presence with a hook,

in the presence with no repentance.”

Eze 25:11   "And I will execute judgments upon Moab, and they shall know that I am the LORD."

Divine Commentary –

“My servants are in the midst of the suffering of the multitudes,

are in surroundings neither conducive to mercy nor forgiveness,

are in the localities of man where sin drags down the glory of man –

                                                                                                      the freewill of man –

to be measured solely by his quest for survival.

My servants see the importance attached to man’s instinct for survival,

attached to the life of man,

attached to his basic needs unfulfilled this day.

My servants see the breeding of the flies,

                           the rotting of the flesh;

have their nostrils twitch at the stinking smell of death found in the heat of day.”

Eze 25:12   'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Because of what Edom did against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended by avenging itself on them,"

Divine Commentary –

“My servants are aware of to whom the right to vengeance solely falls,

by whom vengeance should be wielded,

for whom vengeance is the weapon of last resort after warnings are ignored.

The day for the release of vengeance is reserved solely as the right,

                                                                                         as the property,

as within the arsenal of God.

Foolish are they who appropriate the right to vengeance,

who instigate the act of vengeance,

                           who oversee,

                           who lose control,

                           who are unable to rescind,

the vengeance of the soul once unleashed by man.”

Eze 25:13   'therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "I will also stretch out My hand against Edom, cut off man and beast from it, and make it desolate from Teman; Dedan shall fall by the sword.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants know the favour of The Lord,

know the rebuke of The Lord.

My servants know the fear of God as the governing directive in their lives,

as the governing attitude of approach,

as the governing aspect of the character in submission of assessment:

the tribute offered as the base on which to build,

                                                                                                                                                   on which to enhance,

                                                                                                                                             a close relationship with God.”

Eze 25:14   "I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, that they may do in Edom according to My anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance," says the Lord GOD.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants neither desert nor flee the will of God.

My servants offer hearts of rejoicing in the favour of The Lord.

My servants offer hearts of repentance at the rebuke of The Lord.

My servants do not sulk,

                    are not surly,

at the directed word of God.

My servants give thanks in all things relating to their God of Love,

                                                                         to their God of Life,

to their God which saves the penitent from hell,

                                                                                                                                      from the claws of Satan,

from a destiny of eternal loss.”

Eze 25:15   'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Because the Philistines dealt vengefully and took vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy because of the old hatred,"

Divine Commentary –

“My servants do not see their gowns of life within mortality.

My servants do not yet see their chests which store their treasures of redemption.

My servants do not yet know the magnificence of their treasure,

                                                the wonder of their treasure,

the measure of their treasure or of the opportunities which await beyond the grave of man.

My servants do not enquire into the mysteries of God.

My servants are content with that which God chooses to declare,

                                                                         chooses to make known,

chooses to lay before the mind of man.”

Eze 25:16   'therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast.

Eze 25:17   "I will execute great vengeance on them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I lay My vengeance upon them." ' "
