The Divine Commentary on The Book of Ezekiel - Ch 32 (13.11.11)

Eze 32:1   And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Divine Commentary –

“My servants serve both God and man,

                      serve God at His pleasure,

                      serve man under direction.

My servants serve God within the bounds of fear,

serve man within the bounds of respect for the mantles both carried and encountered.

My servants serve their loving God within His covenant and their confession of joint solidarity in love.

My servants serve man under the auspices of God,

                                      as disciples of God,

                                      as viceroys of God,

as royal households in their realms adopted into the family of God.”

Eze 32:2   "Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him: 'You are like a young lion among the nations, And you are like a monster in the seas, Bursting forth in your rivers, Troubling the waters with your feet, And fouling their rivers.'

Divine Commentary –

“My servants whether in their youth or whether in their maturity have consistency of access,

                                                                                                        have consistency of counsel,

have consistency within the will of God.

My servants have consistency as their gifts expand with use,

as their gifts develop with experience,

as their gifts react as they are sought,

as they are called to the fore,

as they are shared as intended.

My servants do not shrug off the gifts of God,

do not decline the gifts of God,

do not deny the gifts of God.

My servants are not selective in a choice of gifts,

in a rejection of some not to their liking,

in an overuse of those with which they are familiar.

My servants,

               in wisdom,

do not reject the gifts of God.”

Eze 32:3   "Thus says the Lord GOD: 'I will therefore spread My net over you with a company of many people, And they will draw you up in My net.

Divine Commentary –

“The gifts of God are not repealed by God,

                              are not cancelled by God,

                              are not redeemed by God.

The gifts of God can not be pawned,

should not be locked up in a vault,

should not be kept in darkness far from the throne of light.

The gifts of God are for the discernment of My servant in his walk on the earth,

are for the protection of My servant in his venturing on the earth,

are for the ministering of My servant in the divine appointments encountered on the earth.

The gifts of God are for the powerful and the humble,

                                       the rich and the poor,

                                       the lambs and the sheep.

The gifts of God grow in effectiveness with the growth in faith,

                                                               with the growth in tongues,

with the growth in a relationship with God.

The gifts of God are as seeds planted in a garden where the soil is always fertile,

                                                                               which weeds cannot choke out,

which may be dormant for a wintry season,

which will grow to reach up to The Son light with tender loving care.”

Eze 32:4   Then I will leave you on the land; I will cast you out on the open fields, And cause to settle on you all the birds of the heavens. And with you I will fill the beasts of the whole earth.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants should optimize their time within the age of grace,

optimize their preparation within the age of grace,

optimize their outreach for the lost within the age of grace.

My servants should so structure all they say and do –

in awareness of their presence within the age of grace.

My servants need to broadcast to the world at large the significance of dwelling in the age of grace.

My servants need to stress the benefits to the world at large –

of an understanding of all it means to man to be and live within the age of grace.

My servants need to ensure they are not held as accountable before a victim –

he who may accuse the knowledgeable yet silent,

he who may have walked and not been woken,

he who may have accompanied and yet not had shared,

he who has been subject to foreclosure of his time of grace.”

Eze 32:5   I will lay your flesh on the mountains, And fill the valleys with your carcass.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants are never seen by God as sacrificial lambs,

                                                           as lambs awaiting slaughter,

                                                           as lambs of little worth.

My earthbound servants have a special niche reserved within the  hierarchy of all who serve The God of Truth,

of all the hosts of heaven,

                                                                                                                          of all who are self-aware,

of all who have been occasioned with freewill.

My servants are always in the eye of God,

are as the cornerstone of His harvest,

are at the outworks of His Kingdom.

My servants are seen to be bound by their promises in validation of the word of God.”

Eze 32:6   'I will also water the land with the flow of your blood, Even to the mountains; And the riverbeds will be full of you.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants are the viceroys of My kingdom,

                      are the harbingers of hope,

                      are the settlors of confusion,

are the signposts for an eternal destiny,

are the brotherhood of God attending the brotherhood of man.”

Eze 32:7   When I put out your light, I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, And the moon shall not give her light.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants vie with others for the attention of the soul of man,

in order to change the outlook,

                                               in order to offer grace,

in order to ensure the sanctity of life,

in order to achieve all that which lies within the will of God,

in order to extend a new covenant with man.

My servants have answers which unfold before the questioning of man,

which enlist the counselling of My Spirit,

which compromise demonic forces reliant on the idols of deception,

which shed the light of truth upon the darkness of a lie,

which entail the works of God before the eyes of man.”

Eze 32:8   All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you, And bring darkness upon your land,' Says the Lord GOD.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants enquire from the passers-by,

explain their seeking of an answer,

apologize for what is taken as an interruption,

satisfy the seekers of further information.

My servants are as brushstrokes on a canvas:

the brushstrokes of renewal which erase the darkness of the heart,

the brushstrokes of an artist who can paint afresh,

the brushstrokes which show great promise for a life revealed,

the brushstrokes of the master in showing a life once restrained in darkness uplifted to the glory of the light.”

Eze 32:9   'I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants see the effects upon the canvas of a master painter,

see the effects upon the clay of a master potter,

see the effects upon a house of a master builder:

when destined to become a temple of The Living God.

My servants stand amazed before the work in progress,

                                           before the changes wrought,

before the template of the temple for the future life of man.”

Eze 32:10   'Yes, I will make many peoples astonished at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid of you when I brandish My sword before them; and they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.'

Eze 32:11   "For thus says the Lord GOD: 'The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.

Eze 32:12   'By the swords of the mighty warriors, all of them the most terrible of the nations, I will cause your multitude to fall. 'They shall plunder the pomp of Egypt, And all its multitude shall be destroyed.

Eze 32:13   Also I will destroy all its animals From beside its great waters; The foot of man shall muddy them no more, Nor shall the hooves of animals muddy them.

Eze 32:14   Then I will make their waters clear, And make their rivers run like oil,' Says the Lord GOD.

Eze 32:15   'When I make the land of Egypt desolate, And the country is destitute of all that once filled it, When I strike all who dwell in it, Then they shall know that I am the LORD.

Eze 32:16   'This is the lamentation With which they shall lament her; The daughters of the nations shall lament her; They shall lament for her, for Egypt, And for all her multitude,' Says the Lord GOD."

Eze 32:17   It came to pass also in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying:

Eze 32:18   "Son of man, wail over the multitude of Egypt, And cast them down to the depths of the earth, Her and the daughters of the famous nations, With those who go down to the Pit:

Eze 32:19   'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Go down, be placed with the uncircumcised.'

Eze 32:20   "They shall fall in the midst of those slain by the sword; She is delivered to the sword, Drawing her and all her multitudes.

Eze 32:21   The strong among the mighty Shall speak to him out of the midst of hell With those who help him: 'They have gone down, They lie with the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.'

Eze 32:22   "Assyria is there, and all her company, With their graves all around her, All of them slain, fallen by the sword.

Eze 32:23   Her graves are set in the recesses of the Pit, And her company is all around her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword, Who caused terror in the land of the living.

Eze 32:24   "There is Elam and all her multitude, All around her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, Who caused their terror in the land of the living; Now they bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit.

Eze 32:25   They have set her bed in the midst of the slain, With all her multitude, With her graves all around it, All of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; Though their terror was caused In the land of the living, Yet they bear their shame With those who go down to the Pit; It was put in the midst of the slain.

Eze 32:26   "There are Meshech and Tubal and all their multitudes, With all their graves around it, All of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, Though they caused their terror in the land of the living.

Eze 32:27   They do not lie with the mighty Who are fallen of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to hell with their weapons of war; They have laid their swords under their heads, But their iniquities will be on their bones, Because of the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

Eze 32:28   Yes, you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, And lie with those slain by the sword.

Eze 32:29   "There is Edom, Her kings and all her princes, Who despite their might Are laid beside those slain by the sword; They shall lie with the uncircumcised, And with those who go down to the Pit.

Eze 32:30   There are the princes of the north, All of them, and all the Sidonians, Who have gone down with the slain In shame at the terror which they caused by their might; They lie uncircumcised with those slain by the sword, And bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit.

Eze 32:31   "Pharaoh will see them And be comforted over all his multitude, Pharaoh and all his army, Slain by the sword," Says the Lord GOD.

Eze 32:32   "For I have caused My terror in the land of the living; And he shall be placed in the midst of the uncircumcised With those slain by the sword, Pharaoh and all his multitude," Says the Lord GOD.
