The Wailing of The Innocent (19.12.11)

“The wailing of the innocent is always heard by God.

The wailing of the innocent is the loudest cry on earth.

The wailing of the innocent is of compassion for the distraught.

The wailing of the innocent is the scream of much desperation,

is the cry of much pain,

is the outpouring of much grief.

The wailing of the innocent is not a pleasant sound,

                                             disturbs all who hear it,

                                             upsets all who view it,

dismays all unable to bring comfort.

The wailing of the innocent puts a searchlight on the scene,

puts a spotlight on the reason,

puts a footlight on the victim,

puts a torch light on the happenings of the day.

The wailing of the innocent puts a floodlight on the background to that which brought it forth.

The wailing of the innocent is not drawn out for effect,

is not drawn out to gather sympathy,

is not drawn out to point a finger.

The wailing of the innocent is not a guide light to the source of such distress,

is not an array of noise which brings distraction,

is as a lighthouse in the darkness which has lost its light.

The wailing of the innocent is dependent on discernment of the spirit,

                                                                  on internment with the spirit,

                                                                  on refinement by the spirit.

The wailing of the innocent is quietened by concern,

                                             is quietened by assistance,

                                             is quietened by companionship.

The wailing of the innocent is silenced by release,

                                             is silenced by belief,

                                             is silenced by attention.

The wailing of the innocent is rewarded by the onset of hope,

                                                                 by the onset of faith,

by the onset of the truth.

The wailing of the innocent is rewarded by the onset of trust,

                                                                 by the onset of freedom,

by the onset of a life regained.

The wailing of the innocent is occasioned by the lies,

is occasioned by lack of care,

is occasioned by a verdict brought by man.

The wailing of the innocent occasions the onset of paralysis,

                                                              the onset of restrictions,

                                                              the onset of captivity.

The wailing of the innocent occasions the continuation of the prayers.

The wailing of the innocent calls for a revision of that which brought it forth.

The wailing of the innocent is a signal for appeal.

The wailing of the innocent is confirmed by God.

The wailing of the innocent calls for a righting of a wrong,

                                             calls for perseverance,

calls for mobilization of righteousness infringed.

The wailing of the innocent is still heard by God when within the thrall of silence,

when in a paroxysm of intent,

                                                                               when distanced by adversity,

                                                                               when subjected to correction,

                                                                               when summoned by authority,

when vacated by the relatives who are reserved to care.

The wailing of the innocent is not always heard for what it is,

                                             can be misinterpreted by man,

can be discarded as the emotion of the moment,

                                             can be known to children,

can be misapplied by the servants of the courts of man.

The wailing of the innocent is often heard at the full-stop of a sentence when there is a call for a setting of example,

when publicity has crucified the just to the making of a story,

when there is no repentance from the secret doubters who still brought it so to be.

The wailing of the innocent tugs at the hearts which still live and question,

                                                                         which still study and derive,

which still test and validate –

                                                                                                          what has gone before.

The wailing of the innocent is as a long-lived call arising from injustice:

which besets the soul of man with the cry of ages,

                                                                                      ‘Father,

forgive them for they know not what they do.’ ”
