Faith Filled Faithful Servants (12.8.12)

“Faith filled faithful servants are hard to enlist,

                                               are scarce upon the ground,

                                               are worthy to be praised.

Faith filled faithful servants seek and find that which is difficult to possess –

                                                                                               the trust of God.

Faith filled faithful servants attend to the finest detail,

                         with alacrity and purpose,

                         with the goal for achievement set on as near a perfect outcome as abilities permit.

Faith filled faithful servants are as the sentinels of God,

                                              are as reliable as the sun rise,

                                              are as plentiful as rubies,

                                              are the stokers of the fires of God.

Faith filled faithful servants are the tall poppies of God,

                                                                      who can see distant horizons,

                                                                      who can envisage the need before requested,

                                                                      who are never placed in vases,

                                                                      who are encouraged to grow taller,

                                                                      who are in company with God,

                                                                      who are in the most rewarding of relationships.

Faith filled faithful servants are the firewalls of protection,

                                              are the emitters of encouragement,

                                              are the transferors of the Gifts.

Faith filled faithful servants come and go within the will of God,

                                              come and go with the tongues of heaven,

                                              come and go in the experience of miracles,

                                                                    in the sighting of the wonders,

                                                                    in the knowledge of the signs,

                                                                    in the carrying of the keys.

Faith filled faithful servants never whisper secrets,

                                              never speak behind another’s back,

                                              never utter lies,

                                              never are harnessed under pride.

Faith filled faithful servants have souls accustomed to honouring the spirit,

                                                                                    to listening intently to The Holy Spirit,

                                                                                    to marking each day with prayer in a conversation with their living God.

Faith filled faithful servants have little need to query,

                                              have little need to ascertain,

                                              have little need to verify,

                                              have little need to mount a session filled with questions,

                                              have little need for adulation,

                                              have little need for congratulation.

Faith filled faithful servants are knowledgeable of the ways of God,

                                              know well the fear of God,

                                              always bring honour to the table.

Faith filled faithful servants refuse to discuss the trivial,

                                              refuse to recount a downfall,

                                              refuse to throw accelerants onto a smoking pile.

Faith filled faithful servants refuse to participate in the confusions of man,

                                              refuse to stir a muddied pool,

                                              refuse to listen to a babel,

                                              refuse to speculate at random,

                                              refuse to retreat from light,

                                              refuse to be unequally yoked.

Faith filled faithful servants can be trusted with their promises,

                                              can be trusted for completion,

                                              can be trusted with the sacred,

                                              can be trusted within the edifice of God,

                                              can be trusted with the gold of God,

                                              can be trusted to manage and achieve each heart’s intent.

Faith filled faithful servants know the value of appointments,

                                                       the time within the day of man, 

                                                       the time required to travel,

                                                       the time set for arrival,

                                                       the time due for departure that does not outstay a welcome.

Faith filled faithful servants do not grimace in a silence,

                                              do not infringe on social boundaries,

                                              do not heap food upon a plate,

                                              do not revisit until all are seen to have a plate in hand.

Faith filled faithful servants do not lag behind,

                                              accomplish the content of their taskings,

                                              do not deal in trite excuses without the weight of truth,

                                              do not bring a null report when it is out of time.

Faith filled faithful servants listen and confirm,

                                              action and achieve,

                                              finish and await.

Faith filled faithful servants are the ambassadors of God,

                                                    the envoys of The Lord,

                                                    the close friends of The Spirit,

                                                    the saints seen with their missions –

                                                                                            whether close by or far afield –

                                                                     which contribute to the edifice of God.”
