The Comfort of Man (18.9.14)

“The comfort of man is a function of his surroundings,

                                   is determined by his perception of the future,

                                   is dependent on his ability to meet his needs and to advance into the wants.

The comfort of man is built upon his culture of the day,

                                                                       of his nation’s place within the procurement of the industries,

                                                                       of the infrastructure with which he is familiar,

                                                                                                        in which he can participate,

                                                                                                        for which he has the means of access.

The comfort of man stands upon the quality of life;

                                  is superimposed upon his lifestyle;

                                  is specific to his accrual of wealth:

                                                              bringing freedom of choice both to his body soul and spirit.

The comfort of man is nourished by the satisfying of his needs –

                                                          the quality of the solutions –

                                                          the stability of their presence –

                                                          the longevity of their existence –

                                                          the repair cycle born of their maintenance or repair –

                                                          the assessing of the risk of their damage or destruction.

The comfort of man is a measure of his coping with the variants of life,

                                                          his access to the enhancers of his intellect –

                                                                                            of instruction,

                                                                                            of acquisition,

                                                                                            of speech,

                                                                                            of song,

                                                                                            of cognition,

                                                                                            of literacy,

                                                                                            of numeracy,

                                                                                            of digital functioning,

                                                                                            of language,

                                                                                            of application,

                                                                                            of handling,

                                                                                            of travel,

                                                                                            of evaluation,

                                                                                            of music,

                                                                                            of artistry,

                                                                                            of physicality –

                                                      of interacting with all which he encounters for better or for worse.

The comfort of man is not a cave within a zoo,

                                  is not a hideaway upon a mountain top,

                                  is not an arena of a desert,

                                  is not a lack on which recurring effort is excessively expended,

                                  is not a solitude of loneliness where nothing can be shared,

                                  is not the pursuit seen as the be-all and the end-all of the objective of the chase.

The comfort of man is determined by the climate of his domain in life:

                                                             his adjustments to the patterns of the weather;

                                                             his adjustments to the intensity of the weather;

                                                             his adjustments to the seasons of the weather;

                                                             his adjustments to the vagaries of the weather.

The comfort of man is impacted by his access to the clothing for the day.

The comfort of man is impacted by his perception of the purpose of his life.

The comfort of man is impacted by his understanding of his destiny,

                                                     by his attention to his spirit’s food,

                                                     by his concentration on the development of a fully rounded character,

                                                     by his quest for righteousness to stand him in good stead.

The comfort of man can be attacked by ill-health,

                                  can be subject to a terminal disease,

                                  can by impaired by activities impinging on the welfare of the body.

The comfort of man can be made secure,

                                  can be made rewarding,

                                  can be made both thrilling and exciting.

The comfort of man can be found within a service-call to a higher calling,

                                  can be found by an encounter within reality,

                                  can be found where life is protected and secured for indefinite extension.

The comfort of man does not lie in bottles of addiction,

                                                     in pipes of addiction,

                                                     in needles of addiction,

                                                     in tablets of addiction.

                   The addictive desires of man should be quenched in their infancy,

                                                                  should be stomped on with a willing foot,

                                                                  should be rejected when a hand first holds for a close inspection:

                                                                                     prior to ‘a pulling of the trigger’ resulting in a downward spiral.

The comfort of man is resultant on the bed of choice on which he lies.

The comfort of man is better in an uplift rather than a downdraught.

The comfort of man is most rewarding when viewed from within a temple.

The comfort of man is most certain when a commitment to The Loving God is evident.

The comfort of man is most spectacular when viewed from the vantage point of commitment.

The comfort of man is fully endowed when man arises to join the family of God.

The comfort of man is endorsed and welcomed in honour for eternity:

                                                                       when in a preparatory mortal relationship with The Living God of Life.”
