The Youth Outside My Church (6.7.15)

“The youth outside My church fight many battles by themselves.

The youth outside My church know how to feed the body,

                                                are in ignorance of the feeding of the spirit and the soul.

The youth outside My church need to be befriended with sharing of the living water.

The youth outside My church need teaching of the choices for the steering of a life,

                                                need experiences of the practicality of support upon a life,

                                                need a fellowship where trust and truth is evident,

                                                                              where scoring is not at the cost of friendship,

                                                                                                      is not at the penalty of punishment,

                                                                                                      is not at the estranging of companionships born of trial and error.

The youth outside My church know the cost of independence,

                                                know the tests and dares as issued by the peers,

                                                know the difficulties as woven by the web of advancement which is tethered to a mountain.

The youth outside My church know the pain of solitude,

                                                know the regret of the night before,

                                                know the coping with cold shoulders and the building of the insults.

The youth outside My church battle with the freewill of choice,

                                                battle with the freewill of others,

                                                battle with the freewill of siblings,

                                                battle with the freewill of parents,

                                                battle with all aspects of freewill in a face-off with understanding.

The youth outside My church are in need of introductions to the warmth inside,

                                                          need introductions to where they can be at home,

                                                          need introductions which are casual and undemanding.

The youth outside My church are unfamiliar with the world of hobbies,

                                                seek encouragement to participate,

                                                don’t want surprises along the way,

                                                don’t want challenges building to crescendoes which would even cause an animal to flee.

The youth outside My church like familiarity which puts no demands on understanding,

                                                do not like being asked to read or write or pray or testify before a group,

                                                do not like what are seen as ‘tests’ which may exclude,

                                                do not like ‘tests’ which may embarrass,

                                                do not like ‘tests’ which lead to loss-of-face.

The youth outside My church may have a club of unity where entry is gauged and difficult,

                                                                                         where approval brings a seal of achievement,

                                                                                         where initiation may carry importance beyond a tag,

                                                                                         where consolidation turns the keys to the claws of crime,

                                                                                         where the claws of crime offer habits and addictions –

                                                                                                                which can bedevil a life aimed at clarity and hope.

The youth outside My church require guidance and direction for all which remains a mystery,

                                                                                                  for all outside both experience and comprehension,

                                                                                                  for all involved with goal setting,

                                                                                                  for all declaring the purpose of fulfilment for a life.

The youth outside My church are sometimes hurt unto withdrawal,

                                                are sometimes goaded to a fight,

                                                are sometimes released upon a promise,

                                                are sometimes chased until they can no longer run.

The youth outside My church separate and gather;

                                                know what interests and what doesn’t,

                                                know what inflicts and damages,

                                                know what is downright dangerous and crude.

The youth outside My church explore and investigate,

                                                tryout and evaluate,

                                                reject or approve.

The youth outside My church recognize sincerity of approach although masked by a quip,

                                                can generate a careless yet listening ear which remembers in recall.

The youth outside My church have interests not common in My church,

                                                have interests which satisfy the needs,

                                                have interests which fill the idle hours,

                                                have interests which may not be within the daylight,

                                                have interests which breed seclusion with the secrets of the night.

The youth outside My church may well aspire to the heights of wealth creation,

                                                may well aspire to the values of a family,

                                                may well aspire to the functioning of business,

                                                may well aspire to openness of introduction to the world of commerce.

The youth outside My church may seek a mentor who knows the way,

                                                                                who has experience in that of which is spoken,

                                                                                who has the credentials of an expertise not taught in schools,

                                                                                who has the experience to bring to bear for the the changing of a life,

                                                                                who has the first-hand knowledge of what is shared and discussed.

The youth outside My church should not be the sufferers of rejection,

                                                should not be the carriers of frustration,

                                                should not be antagonists at large,

                                                should not be the enemies of the innocent,

                                                should not be the enemies of God,

                                                should not be destined for the destiny of default.

The youth outside My church should know the fortitude of hope,

                                                                      the changing of an attitude,

                                                                      the sensing of relief,

                                                                      the growing of responsibility,

                                                                      the caring for a life,

                                                                      the starting of relationships,

                                                                      the honouring of companionship,

                                                                      the implications of morality,

                                                                      the robustness of belief,

                                                                      the entry onto the field of faith.

The youth outside My church need to be informed on the types of ‘love’,

                                                                                 on the rights to vengeance,

                                                                                 on the life to be expected beyond the grave of man.

The youth outside My church should become observant of the reality of God,

                                                should be informed of that underpinning the morality of God;

                                                should be informed of that comprising the ethics of man when such change within his cultures.

The youth outside My church should be aware of the reasons for mortality,

                                                should be aware of the reasons for eternity,

                                                should understand the travelling to get from here to there.

The youth outside My church can select and choose a way of life,

                                                can shorten and avoid the way into the future,

                                                can lower a veil of frustration which selects with groping hands,

                                                                                                                       with no vision of a face,

                                                                                                                       with no reliance on morality,

                                                                                                                       with no attention paid to ethics.

The youth outside My church should not be unemployable:

                                                should be conscientious and trustworthy,

                                                should be presentable and circumspect,

                                                should be enthusiastic and reliable,

                                                should be truthful and honest in their dealings.

The youth outside My church should seek a job they can respect and honour,

                                                                             they can fulfil with a desire to keep,

                                                                             in which there is to be found growth with advancement –

                                                                             sufficient to satisfy both the spirit and the soul.

The youth outside My church should have a time set apart for getting to know their God,

                                                                               for getting to know all He holds in store,

                                                                for getting to know the power of thought transfer as a revealed mystery of God,

                                               for coming to expect the promise of The Father with admission to the family of God.”
