The Divine Commentary on The Book of Revelation - Ch 12 (9.1.11)

Rev 12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.

Divine Commentary –

“So is this, 

         in part, 

                  a repetition of My disclosure in My book. 

So is this, 

         in part, 

                  an expansion on the imagery found within the metaphors. 

So is this, 

         in part, 

                  imparting understanding of the tongues of heaven as to how they may relate to the tongues of man.

As in My book –

‘As it is written so it now is. 

            This sign still appears in heaven. 

The sun lights the woman with tendrils of fire that reach out to all the heavens throughout all ages and all time. 

The woman moves her feet and the moon is gathered in her arms, 

The woman claps her hands and the moon encircles her head, 

The woman continues on her way and the moon draws her near – 

                                     she who has a garland of twelve stars upon her head. 

Twelve stars that explode into fragments that envelop and develop like for like. 

Twelve stars now become a multitude that stretches from her head right to her feet. 

                                    The multitude of stars is now gathered and conjoined: 

                                                   each to the cluster star that gave each a birthright presence to exist.’

As I continue here – 

The woman, 

          the mother church on earth, 

                   is under the protection of The Son of God.

The moon with its purity of white denotes The Holy Spirit. 

The moon placed under her feet indicates He, 

          The Holy Spirit, 

                   goes before her in preparation – 

                              a light unto her feet.

The garland of twelve stars on her head are the twelve patriarchal spirits, 

          the angels, 

                   signifying her inheritance from the tribes of Israel.

The woman is lit, 

          is set on fire, 

                   by The Son of God: 

                             so the tendrils – 

                                  the converts to – 

                                  the offshoots of – 

                                  the body of believers, 

                                  the saints, 

                   with their spirits confirmed by The Holy Spirit, 

                                  reach out, 

                                  search for, 

                                          go forth two by two to spread the fire of god – 

                                                                                          the word of God – 

                                  without hindrance or restriction to all whom they encounter.

The moon – 

          The Holy Spirit – 

                   is supplying the needs of the church, 

                             which she embraces as she starts in the moving of her feet, 

                                                              as she starts on her first steps, 

                                                              as she starts upon her travels: 

                                                 so she keeps The Holy Spirit close to her heart.

She claps her hands – 

          signifying her seeking of the counsel of The Holy Spirit who then attends her head. 

She continues on her way with the moon drawing her near  – 

          signs as to her growth, 

                       to her development, 

                 within the guidance of The Holy Spirit. 

My Spirit keeps her close to ensure she is within his fold of influence.

So the twelve stars, 

          within the garland, 

                   which adorn the head of the woman – 

                             in honour, 

                             in tribute to her origins – 

          which in turn are seen to multiply, 

                                               to ‘explode into fragments’, 

                                               to extend throughout the earth, 

                                                               as the nation of the covenant.

The multitude of stars is the birthright of Abraham, 

                                    each now gathered to a nation – 

                                              formed within a day – 

                                    to be so combined together, 

                                    to be so joined to, 

                                    to so congregate around, 

                                                        the cluster star – 

                                                                  The Bright and Morning Star – 

                                                                  The Messiah – 

                                                                  The Christ – 

                                                                  The Son of God – 

                                                                           from where each star within the multitude, 

                                                                                               each spirit known to God, 

                                                                           is bestowed their birthright entitlement: 

                                                                                               so to be where all may know I AM.

When a sign appears in heaven, 

           it requires interpretation into terms, 

                                                   into images, 

                  whose content will have comprehensibility before the face of man. 

For earthly concepts and languages capable of conveying what appears in heaven are neither sufficiently precise, 

                                  nor have sufficient extensibility to portray adequately – 

                                            the reality of discernment within the heavenly levels of activity. 

So does man presently see darkly through a glass – 

           of what may later be seen, 

                    magnified with clarity, 

                               through a crystal lens of extremely great power.”

Rev 12:2 Then being with child, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth.

Divine Commentary –

“Then being with child, 

           so she cried out – 

                    in labour, 

                    in pain, 

                               to give birth. 

So each church is birthed, 

           as the church cries out in prayer, 

           as the church goes through the labour, 

           as the church is called to make the sacrifices to sustain the birth.”

Rev 12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.

Divine Commentary –

“As in My book –

‘As it is written, 

         so it will come to be, 

         so it will expand. 

The passing of the dragon should be noted; 

          for it carries the heads of the eldership of churches, 

                it carries the means of self-defence, 

                it carries the diadems of churches: 

                                                      the bodies of believers, 

                                                                                the accolades of eldership entrusted to their care. 

Behold, 

         and Elders would be wise to emulate, 

                      the dragon that is neither lukewarm nor cold. 

                For the dragon will not cool, 

                      the dragon fights to defend, 

                      the dragon adds to what he has, 

                      the dragon parades through heaven all he has acquired.’

As I continue here – 

The red dragon believes in trophies, 

 the red dragon exhibits pride in his achievements, 

                              seeks to increase his trophies, 

                              seeks to expand the signs of his success, 

                              seeks to display that which he should not, 

                                                                               in places he should not.

So should his passing be noted, 

          for he shall not pass this way again. 

For as he is cast down to earth so access is denied to heaven. 

So should his passing be noted, 

          for it is a signing of his intent, 

                                      of his measure of his success to be, 

                   as he parades throughout the earth so he adorns himself with his spoils of victory, 

                                                                          so as he is adorned, 

                                                                          so as he parades upon the earth, 

                                                                          so is his parading seen in heaven, 

                                                                                                            viewed from heaven, 

                                                                                                            known in heaven. 

As he is observed, 

          so he will be bound when held within captivity. 

As the trophies of the dragon acquiesced to their status before the earth, 

          so they too are bound to the dragon’s horny back: 

                   on which they so liked to ride before the accolades of crowds.

Beware! 

           Do not become a trophy impaled on the dragon’s horns. 

           Take the warning seriously, 

                    for he has dominion over the earth, 

                            and would so make a friend of man – 

                                      in order to lead him to the destruction of his spirit, 

                                                                       to the imprisonment of his soul – 

                                                          where time no longer has existence.

Beware of the false prophets and the liars bound together in deceit: 

           for they will so accompany the dragon, 

                    who became their figurehead, 

                               in the absence of the light.”

Rev 12:4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.

Divine Commentary –

“As the fiery red dragon falls from grace, 

           so does his tail entice significant numbers of the stars – 

                                                                                    the angels of heaven – 

                                to become his hangers-on, 

                                to accompany him on a journey which only ends in confinement: 

                                                                                                          under the guardianship of God. 

As the woman comes to the end of her confinement, 

           so the red dragon is at the ready, 

                    as he stands before her, 

                    as he is prepared – 

                                         to so devour her Child upon the taking of a breath.”

Rev 12:5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.

Divine Commentary –

“So the church was borne a figurehead: 

            a male Child born to rule the nations in justice and in strength, 

            a male Child destined to be caught up to the very presence of God and to His throne.”

Rev 12:6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

Divine Commentary –

“So the church goes through a time of testing from demonic forces, 

           yet is raised up by the hand of God in His place of choice, 

                   where the church is nourished and sustained in a time of preparation.”

Rev 12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,

Divine Commentary –

“As it has been recorded, 

           so it is recounted in John’s vision.”

Rev 12:8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.

Divine Commentary –

“As the record stands, 

           so is the record known.”

Rev 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Divine Commentary –

“As the words appear, 

           so commentary has been declared.”

Rev 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

Divine Commentary –

“As the words are heard within a vision, 

           so the proclamation is declared in heaven, 

                   for declaration on the earth.”

Rev 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Divine Commentary –

“So can the victory be won: 

           by the blood of The Lamb with the name above all names, 

                   and by the word of each testimony – 

                             so carried within each heart and so spoken even unto death.”

Rev 12:12 "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."

Divine Commentary –

“As heaven rejoices at the victory, 

           at the casting out of the great dragon – 

           at his casting to the earth; 

                              so the onset of woe befalls the inhabitants of the earth, 

                                                                          the inhabitants of the sea. 

           So the devil has come down with his great wrath intact – 

                    for venting as he prowls: 

                             with urgency because of his allotted time.”

Rev 12:13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.

Divine Commentary –

“When the dragon sees the repercussions of his rebellion, 

                                                                   of his defeat in heaven, 

                                                                   of his loss of sanctity, 

                                                                   of his time of exile: 

              so he pursues in persecution the church of The First Born, 

                                                            the church which instates the first born of God as 

                                                                                                          The Christ, 

                                                                                                          The Messiah, 

                                                                                                          The God of truth incarnate.”

Rev 12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

Divine Commentary –

“But the body of believers receive the means of transport – 

           to fly them to their place within the wilderness, 

                   for a time of nourishment, 

                                    of recovery, 

                           away from the activities of Satan.”

Rev 12:15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.

Divine Commentary –

“So Satan, 

           the great dragon, 

                   spews fire as a heat wave – 

                                         excessive heat – 

                                         baking heat – 

                              out of his mouth like a flood after the body of believers, 

                                       that he may cause them to be overcome by the heat.”

Rev 12:16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.

Divine Commentary –

“ But the earth helps the body of believers in their place of refuge, 

                                                                     in their landscape of a haven, 

                                                                     in their place of wilderness, 

                                                                                            as the earth absorbs, 

                                                                                                               swallows up, 

                                                     all the flood of heat which the dragon spews out from his mouth.”

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Divine Commentary –

“So the dragon snarls in great anger at the church, 

           eagerly going forth to war with the offsprings of assemblies: 

                                                              wherein dwell the great body of believers – 

                                    them who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus, 

                                                                                                                                           The Christ.”
