The Divine Commentary on The Book of Ezekiel - Ch 24 (4.11.11)

Eze 24:1   Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Divine Commentary –

“My servants celebrate the word of God,

                       celebrate the new day,

                       celebrate the coming into life,

                       celebrate the ministry of God,

                       celebrate the promises of God,

celebrate the new covenant in force.

My servants celebrate in service to their God.

My servants celebrate in words of acclamation,

                                    in words of testimony,

in words poorly describing their witnessing of miracles.

My servants celebrate the rescues,

                    celebrate in gratitude,

                    celebrate renewals,

celebrate the impact of the cross,

celebrate the compassion for a child.

My servants celebrate the changing of a life,

celebrate the removal of a burden,

celebrate the freedom from a fear,

                    celebrate a new beginning,

                    celebrate the peace of God.

My servants celebrate in the grace of God,

in the healing power of God,

                                    in the relationship with God.

My servants celebrate the joy within discovery of all their God does do.”

Eze 24:2   "Son of man, write down the name of the day, this very day—the king of Babylon started his siege against Jerusalem this very day.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants tread the stairway to success,

                                the stairway to companionship,

the stairway to a faithful destiny.

My servants tread in footsteps of certain placement,

                              in footsteps without an echo,

in footsteps which encounter new levels –

each with their vista of opportunity –

where the railings of the stairwell provide support of access to the vista which deserves more than a hurried glance.

My servants know the stairway to the heavens is extremely well lit,

                                                                   with the treads securely fixed,

with branching stairs fully signed as to the means of access,

as to the purpose of the prayer,

as to the function of the stairs,

                                                                                                                         as to the destination disclosed.

My servants are in wonder at the staircase to the heavens,

at the complexity of options which open before the eyes,

at the rewards of service as height improves the view,

at the input of wisdom for the feeding of the spirit and the soul,

at the traffic on the staircase which treads the steps with joy.”

Eze 24:3   "And utter a parable to the rebellious house, and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Put on a pot, set it on, And also pour water into it.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants serve the search of victory to the seekers of a purpose,

serve the search of victory to those imprisoned by their fears,

serve the search of victory to the down-trodden,

                                                                  to the pain-bearers,

                                                                  to the downcast souls.

My servants serve the search of victory to the lost within the maze of life,

to the fearful within the jungles of despair,

to the wistful who dream of a better way,

to the hurried and the harried who long for a peaceful rest,

to the busy and the bashful unable to give voice to their desires.

My servants serve the search of victory already mixed with the recipe for success,

already stirred and shaken to sate the palate of the tongue,

already screened in fulness of the truth to satisfy the knowing and the wise,

already prepared to bring a message to the weak and the ill-informed.”

Eze 24:4   Gather pieces of meat in it, Every good piece, The thigh and the shoulder. Fill it with choice cuts;

Divine Commentary –

“My servants gather the shards of broken pots to see the search of victory repair the broken and the shattered,

to see the beauty of what ‘once was’ restored again to fulness of the finished form,

to see history as it became change to become the future as it is discerned.

My servants know the shards of broken pots originating from the hands of man are as the segments of a temple now resulting from the handiwork of God.

For as the hands of man once held the perfection of his pot,

so The God of Heaven deemed perfection into His creation for a garden –

The spirit and the soul of man complete within his temple.

So the temple of man is re-instated on the earth.”

Eze 24:5   Take the choice of the flock. Also pile fuel bones under it, Make it boil well, And let the cuts simmer in it."

Divine Commentary –

“My servants encourage the quest for knowledge,

                       encourage the wonder of restoration,

encourage the achieving of an intended destiny.

My servants love their fellow man.

My servants love their God.

My servants love their callings,

with such as they are tasked to do.”

Eze 24:6   'Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "Woe to the bloody city, To the pot whose scum is in it, And whose scum is not gone from it! Bring it out piece by piece, On which no lot has fallen.

Eze 24:7   For her blood is in her midst; She set it on top of a rock; She did not pour it on the ground, To cover it with dust.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants see the master approaching,

see the master carrying a lamb,

see the master searching back and forth,

see the master extracting a goat from among the thorns,

see the master carrying the lamb and the kid.

My servants see the master putting down the lamb,

                                            putting down the kid,

                                                                    as He walks away.

My servants see both the lamb and the kid skip and dance,

as they closely follow in the footprints of the master.

My servants see the master pause,

                                            turn,

                                            call;

see each of the hopefuls dash into His waiting arms.

My servants now see the master,

                                             still searching,

as He carries two lambs within His care.”

Eze 24:8   That it may raise up fury and take vengeance, I have set her blood on top of a rock, That it may not be covered."

Divine Commentary –

“My servants know the goats of man may become the sheep of God when their coverings are replaced.”

Eze 24:9   'Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "Woe to the bloody city! I too will make the pyre great.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants are discrete in all they hear and see,

in all they witness with The Lord,

in all they encounter before the demons.

My servants hold a sacred trust,

                    hold a holy calling,

hold in all due reverence their God of the abundant life.

My servants know no rancour,

                    know no jealousy,

                    know no selfishness,

                    know no envy,

know no convicting reason for a furrowed brow.

My servants move in My ministry within the blessings of My Spirit,

within the conquest by their tongues,

within the confession of their faith,

within the blood of The Lamb,

within the power of their testimonies.”

Eze 24:10   Heap on the wood, Kindle the fire; Cook the meat well, Mix in the spices, And let the cuts be burned up.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants know the fuel which feeds the fire,

know the purpose of the fire,

know when it scorches but does not burn,

know when it refines in purity of purpose to remove the dross.

My servants know the fuel of sin which besets the flesh of man.”

Eze 24:11   "Then set the pot empty on the coals, That it may become hot and its bronze may burn, That its filthiness may be melted in it, That its scum may be consumed.

Eze 24:12   She has grown weary with lies, And her great scum has not gone from her. Let her scum be in the fire!

Eze 24:13   In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I have cleansed you, and you were not cleansed, You will not be cleansed of your filthiness anymore, Till I have caused My fury to rest upon you.

Eze 24:14   I, the LORD, have spoken it; It shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not hold back, Nor will I spare, Nor will I relent; According to your ways And according to your deeds They will judge you," Says the Lord GOD.'"

Eze 24:15   Also the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Eze 24:16   "Son of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, nor shall your tears run down.

Eze 24:17   "Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind your turban on your head, and put your sandals on your feet; do not cover your lips, and do not eat man's bread of sorrow."

Eze 24:18   So I spoke to the people in the morning, and at evening my wife died; and the next morning I did as I was commanded.

Eze 24:19   And the people said to me, "Will you not tell us what these things signify to us, that you behave so?"

Eze 24:20   Then I answered them, "The word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Eze 24:21   'Speak to the house of Israel, "Thus says the Lord GOD: 'Behold, I will profane My sanctuary, your arrogant boast, the desire of your eyes, the delight of your soul; and your sons and daughters whom you left behind shall fall by the sword.

Eze 24:22   'And you shall do as I have done; you shall not cover your lips nor eat man's bread of sorrow.

Eze 24:23   'Your turbans shall be on your heads and your sandals on your feet; you shall neither mourn nor weep, but you shall pine away in your iniquities and mourn with one another.

Eze 24:24   'Thus Ezekiel is a sign to you; according to all that he has done you shall do; and when this comes, you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.' "

As in My book –

‘As it has been written now henceforth it comes,

                                     now to be fulfilled,

now to confirm the preparation of,

                                                                the witness to,

                                                                                   The Lord.’

Eze 24:25   'And you, son of man—will it not be in the day when I take from them their stronghold, their joy and their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that on which they set their minds, their sons and their daughters:

Eze 24:26   'that on that day one who escapes will come to you to let you hear it with your ears?

Eze 24:27   'On that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped; you shall speak and no longer be mute. Thus you will be a sign to them, and they shall know that I am the LORD.' "

As in My book –

‘In that day it was written for a day such as this.

The Flame of heaven will counsel those who labour in the vineyards,

empowering with boldness those in the Kingdom of God:

that they may go forth declaring the Kingdom of God is nigh –

                                                                                          and with power,

                                                                                          and with authority,

                                                                                          and with signs,

                                                                                          and with wonders,

and with miracles declaring the Word of The Lord,

with a certainty beyond their years,

and with an impact beyond their present understanding.’
