The Favour of The Lord (2) (28.4.11)

“The favour of The Lord is real and personal,

                                         is discernible with awareness,

is confirmation of a walk in faith.

The favour of The Lord falls on the saints as blessings,

falls as the outpourings of the blessings of the day,

falls to confirm the presence of My Spirit,

falls as a reminder of an accompanied walk.

The favour of The Lord is not immediately apparent,

becomes so with a growing relationship,

is dependant on the basis of ongoing conversations,

is impressed upon the soul through the tongues of My Spirit.

The favour of The Lord is evident on the family of God,

                                                                       those within His household,

those who do not waiver day by day,

                                                                       those who carry grateful hearts,

those who know the fear of God,

                                                                       those who have surrendered all,

those who hold all as a servant with a holy trust.

The favour of The Lord is recognised and understood,

                                       is known and appreciated,

                                       is always attributed to God.

The favour of The Lord builds testimonies within the daily lives of the family of God.

The favour of The Lord builds substance into a testimony.

The favour of The Lord builds a record of encouragement,

of the worthiness of the life,

                                                                of God’s certainty of confidence.

The favour of The Lord rains down from a smiling God,

                                       anoints His child of promise,

hugs him for a season when his spirit’s shedding tears.

The favour of The Lord uplifts a foot about to stumble,

uplifts a body about to fall,

uplifts a soul to correct an utterance before it passes across the lips.

The favour of The Lord needs to be loosed within a life on earth so it can befriend the freewill of man.”
