Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
Divine Commentary –
“As the scroll is tendered,
so it is to be accepted:
by the one who has paid the price –
of the right to extend a hand.
The scroll records the sins of man as they were,
as they are,
as they are about to be.
The scroll received its seals from the seven Spirits of God.”
Rev 5:2 Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?"
“As the challenge was proclaimed,
so was the answer sought.”
Rev 5:3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.
“So was the angel answered by those within the gathered throng.”
Rev 5:4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.
“So were the tears of man shed before his sins.
So were the tears of man shed before the angels.
So were the tears of man shed before his God.
So are the tears of man to be so shed when in the presence of his scroll –
filled both inside and out,
sealed by such –
which would prevent its reading:
except by The One who holds the key of David.”
Rev 5:5 But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."
“So the scroll of man was opened in the midst of tears,
opened beyond the seals,
opened for its valid content:
before The Father’s throne.”
Rev 5:6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
“Then did John see his surroundings wherein The Lamb of God did stand,
with the blood-flow of the cross,
with the sign of sacrifice,
with the gifting of The Father,
with the presence of My Holy Spirit which I have sent to comfort man.”
Rev 5:7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
“So is the scroll transferred,
so is the scroll accepted –
with all which that entails.”
Rev 5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
“With acceptance of the scroll,
so reconciliation is confirmed for man,
so reconciliation is confirmed by God,
so reconciliation brings the wave of jubilation,
the wave of prayer,
the wave of praise,
the wave of worship,
the wave of adoration,
the wave of grace upon the earth.”
Rev 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
“So are the praises sung,
so is the relationship begun,
so is the homeward pathway made known.”
Rev 5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
“So is the change in status confirmed;
so is the glory of man revealed;
so is the promise of The King to the kings of the earth to be upheld.”
Rev 5:11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
“So is the throng of heaven filled with one voice in unison,
filled with the voice of unity,
filled with The Anthem of The King –
The Anthem of The Lamb.”
Rev 5:12 saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honour and glory and blessing!"
“As the Anthem surges,
so it fills the heavens,
so it reaches down upon the earth.”
Rev 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honour and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”
“So the Anthem of the heavens is instated over all the earth –
as every knee does bow:
before The King of kings. ”
Rev 5:14 Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.
“As John records,
so it comes to pass.
As John writes,
so the season is before the face of man.
As John reveals,
so the earth rebounds with turmoil.
As the seals are broken,
as the sentinels of God speak in agreement:
so the sentinels of God prepare for the audience of man.”
