"Therefore whoever confesses Me before men,
him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.

But whoever denies Me before men,

The Belief of Man

“The belief of man in his loving God should not be a matter of conjecture in his mind,

should not be a matter of controversy between assemblies of The Lord,

should not be proclaimed from within a mindset of self-righteousness.

The belief of man in his loving God defines his faith,

                                                                       his walk,

                                                                       his destiny.

The belief of man in his loving God should not be defined as a point of difference,

                                                                                              as a point of separation,

                                                                                              as a point of discrimination.

The belief of man in his loving God should usurp his role in anger,

should prevent the raising of his voice,

should prevent the turning of his back.

The belief of man in his loving God lacks sincerity of commitment when these points of argument dwell within the mind of man.

The belief of man in his loving God does not need a declaration of ‘what is’ to serve as a basis of comparison,

does not need the hindering of another’s errors to feed into his soul,

                                                                                                                                      to dampen his spirit,

                                                                                                                                      to delay -

                                                                                                                                      to prolong -

the attainment of his relationship with God.

The belief of man in his loving God should have changed with the message of the cross,

with the message of the witnesses,

with the message committed to The letters of the Lord,

with the message of the covenant which brought a covenant anew before the face of man.

The belief of man in his loving God is now a personal relationship between each unto his own.

The belief of man in his loving God cannot infringe the relationship established by another,

                                                          cannot be copied from another,

                                                          cannot be enforced upon another.

The belief of man in his loving God should follow My teachings in the word,

should lead to his willingness to serve,

his willingness to accept a call,

his willingness to expand his character,

                                                                                                                            his spirit,

                                                                                                                            his soul:

to seek his own portion of wisdom already set aside,

                                                                                                           to walk a directed walk,

                                                                                                           to run a restricted race,

to verify a vision intended just for him.

The belief of man in his loving God will surely lead him home when his heart is true:

with lips that will not babble the falsities of man,

with a tongue which knows the golden languages bestowed from heaven,

with his soul loving to serve his spirit which hearkens to the imprint of The Spirit.

The belief of man in his loving God arrives from a personal encounter as a testimony is borne -

of what God means to him,

of how he intends to serve,

of the gifts he has received,

                                                                                                                                     of the miracles already witnessed,

of the calling on his life,

of the destiny he desires within his heart.

For as each heart relates so will the record stand.”
