Rev 9:1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit.
Divine Commentary –
“As the fifth angel shouts with his trumpet so it marks the journey of the star –
the angel with a mission of descent from heaven to the earth.
So authority is imparted for a purpose,
So instructions are upheld in righteousness,
So the key is turned at the destination where rebellion is controlled.”
Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.
“So the bottomless pit is opened.
The pit with no other means of egress.
The pit where the concept of a bottom is seated in eternity.
The pit where the capacity available never needs assessing.
So the smoke of ages is released upon command.
So the stench of hell remains confined yet sees the light of day.
So the dark vapours of the sin bin of rebellion do strike the sun,
do strike the air of man,
do impose the darkening before the eyes of man.”
Rev 9:3 Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
“As deception breeds,
so deception is released.
As deception is released,
so is seen the agent of transmission.
As the agents of transmission exercise abilities,
so they acquire the resources of their craving.
As the resources are acquired,
so their function is applied.
As the function is applied,
so the pain is inflicted as intended.”
Rev 9:4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
“So the agents have their abilities restricted,
so the agents have their sights set on a target,
so the agents have their targeting refined.”
Rev 9:5 And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.
“So is the harm intended,
so are the deaths prevented,
so is the harming extended throughout a season:
a season of the miseries of torment –
well in excess of the pain thresholds of man.”
Rev 9:6 In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
“The days of the fifth angel bring the days of preference:
the days of men disposed to die –
yet see survival against their will;
the days of men desiring death –
yet see death escape their grasp.
Such is the measure of the torment visited on men seen without the seal of God.”
Rev 9:7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
“The agents of transmission seek to be what they are not;
seek false crowns without authority,
seek that for which they do not qualify,
seek to impress each other with what they themselves have placed upon their heads;
seek to emulate in appearance that which they can never be.”
Rev 9:8 They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth.
“The agents of transmission have hair which covers all their head and rests upon the ground.
like lions’ teeth,
are ready to devour.”
Rev 9:9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle.
“The agents of transmission have breastplates of hardened iron held in array.
The sound of their wings impairs the ears of man:
is as the rush of many winds –
with the rush of many waters –
with the rush of many chariots –
with the rush of many horses at the gallop –
with the rush of much thunder stampeding through the heavens.”
Rev 9:10 They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months.
“The agents of transmission acquire the abilities of scorpions;
so their tails function in application;
so pain is inflicted for the season of attention.”
Rev 9:11 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
“So the angel of the bottomless pit,
in the surroundings of the darkness of the pit,
rule over those who would do man great harm –
even unto death,
in the rage of jealousy,
in the rage of preventing man from the reaching of his glory,
in the age of their dominion from within the darkness of the pit do they go after
the spirits and the souls of man.”
Rev 9:12 One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things.
“So the spirit of man is forewarned,
so the spirit of man is forearmed,
so the spirit of man should be prepared to overcome,
to not be waylaid with surprise upon his face:
so to suffer the beheading of his soul upon the death of his spirit.”
Rev 9:13 Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
“Then the sixth angel,
with his trumpet raised,
whereupon John heard a voice arise in unison from the chosen four of purity of intellect and tone –
who serve at the golden altar which is before the living God.”
Rev 9:14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates."
“The voice of unison then says to the sixth angel with the trumpet:
that which is recorded as John did hear it said.
So are the four angels in position,
so does the great river Euphrates await a change in colour.”
Rev 9:15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.
“So the four angels,
so prepared within the time cue of man,
are released upon the cue to oversee the deployment necessary to bring to pass the killing of a significant number of mankind.”
Rev 9:16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.
“So is the strength of the army known,
so is the army about to move,
so is the walking gait to become a canter.
As the canter turns into a gallop –
so the horsemen become one with their mount –
the agents of transmission released on another foray into the targeting of man.”
Rev 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone.
“So do the riders’ breastplates denote the ability of the mounts,
so are the mounts able to devour,
able to overcome –
able to vanquish –
all of mankind who come before them –
through the functions of their mouths.”
Rev 9:18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.
“By these three plagues is mankind killed in numbers of significance.
As a mouth of the mounts is applied to man –
so man is killed without remorse –
with the fire of incineration,
with the smoke of suffocation,
with the brimstone of asphyxiation.”
Rev 9:19 For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
“So is the location of the power of the mount declared;
so do their tails acquire the abilities of serpents,
as function is applied,
the heads of serpents inflict their harm on man.”
Rev 9:20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.
“As the behaviour of the rest of mankind is recorded,
so it is an abhorrence before God.
For sin is rampant in each captured spirit and in each soul of man.”
Rev 9:21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
“As repentance is marked by its absence from the hearts of man,
so grace is rendered worthless –
is rendered unattainable by those in love with the shrivelled –
the blackened –
heart of sin.
So does the heart of God grieve for the state of man.
So does The Holy Spirit of God close access to the heavens.
So does The Father,
at an audience before His throne,
hear each name within the rest of mankind –
where each heart has locked the gateway to repentance,
where each heart of blackness inters the key of access within the enfolding depths of sin.
As each becomes,
so each receives –
the testimony of The Son:
of denial before The Father.”
