Eze 2:1 And He said to me, "Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you."
Divine Commentary –
speak to those to whom I will:
to those who know of preparation,
to those who know to listen,
to those who know their faith,
to those who know to answer,
to those who know My wisdom,
to those who know the fear of The Lord.”
Eze 2:2 Then the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me.
“In the days of Ezekiel did My Spirit enter.
In the age of grace is My Spirit present,
is My Spirit active throughout the life of discipleship,
is My Spirit willing to converse with the spirit of man.”
Eze 2:3 And He said to me: "Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day.
speak to My Prophets:
so I expect to be obeyed,
so I expect My message to go forth,
so I expect reactions of sincerity,
so I expect attitudes to change,
so I expect lives to be affected,
so I expect nations to embrace the morality declared,
so I expect man to be prepared,
so I expect My bride to be ready for her groom.”
Eze 2:4 "For they are impudent and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD.'
“For as my message is also to the stubborn so it may have to be repeated,
so it may have to be re-emphasized,
so it may have to be delivered with clarity of insight:
devoid of interference from another source;
devoid of a reason,
without a basis of validity,
which is inserted between the message and reception;
devoid of an intrusion preventing comprehension of that which is expected;
devoid of any matter which will impact on rejection,
other than as decided by the heart,
within the freewill of man.”
Eze 2:5 "As for them, whether they hear or whether they refuse—for they are a rebellious house—yet they will know that a prophet has been among them.
“For whether or not they incline their ears to hear in the midst of their rebellion,
yet will they recall the day a prophet comes among them,
the day they stamp their feet,
the day his voice is heard with a message from their God.”
Eze 2:6 "And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
“For as My prophet goes,
so My prophet carries.
For as My prophet is hindered,
so My prophet overcomes.
For as My prophet is nervous,
so My prophet is strengthened.
For as My prophet encounters the confrontations of man,
so My prophet will know the wisdom of My Spirit.”
Eze 2:7 "You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious.
“The prophet speaks under the auspices of God,
speaks whether into acceptance or rejection,
speaks whether into agreement or rebellion.”
Eze 2:8 "But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you."
O prophet in your mortality,
value My words to you,
place them close to your heart;
thereby protecting yourself from catching the disease of those to whom you are sent.”
Eze 2:9 Now when I looked, there was a hand stretched out to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it.
“Now as the prophet looks,
there is a hand stretched out to him;
a scroll of a book is in it,
a scroll of a vision is in it,
a scroll of the end-time age of grace is in it:
a scroll of preparation for the bride,
a scroll of the harvest in these awaited days of rain,
a scroll of the coming storm prior to the clouds of conquest.”
Eze 2:10 Then He spread it before me; and there was writing on the inside and on the outside, and written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe.
