The Divine Commentary on The Book of Ezekiel - Ch 21 (2.11.11)

Eze 21:1   And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Divine Commentary –

“My servants who are in a relationship of sincerity will know the pipeline of sincerity,

will know the pipeline of conversation,

will know the pipeline of query and response,

will know the pipeline of gratitude and confirmation,

will know the pipeline as a conduit of the will of God,

of the tasking of The Lord,

of the counsel of The Spirit:

as the transmission line of The Loving God set up as a linkage to the components of the mind of man.”

Eze 21:2   "Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, preach against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel;

Divine Commentary –

“My servant who serves with wisdom and understanding serves the perfect will of God:

as he looks continuously for the leading of My Spirit,

                                                                              the confirmation of My Spirit,

                                                                              the counsel of My Spirit.”

Eze 21:3   "and say to the land of Israel, 'Thus says the LORD: "Behold, I am against you, and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off both righteous and wicked from you.

Divine Commentary –

“My servant knows when to stand within his covering,

knows when to advance to overcome,

knows when the captive is set free.

My servant knows the power and the authority within which he is designated to move,

within which he is designated to administer,

within which he is designated to acknowledge with thankfulness for the outpouring of the works of God.”

Eze 21:4   "Because I will cut off both righteous and wicked from you, therefore My sword shall go out of its sheath against all flesh from south to north,

Divine Commentary –

“My servant who does not know his calling,

who does not recall the vision,

who does not know the limits of his jurisdiction,

is as a snowflake in a tempest carried it knows not where,

                                                                                                           dropped upon an unprepared landscape,

subjected to a random walk within an avalanche of turmoil.

My servant is then at risk in all he does,

                                                          in all he sees,

in all his relationships within a quest for success.

My servant is then at the mercy of the onset of frustration,

                                                                        of the onset of disappointment,

at the onset of embitterment for his failure on the field of battle.

My servant may then fall as a casualty of a conflict which he never understood:

from which he may be wounded with a fiery dart,

from which he may not return with honour,

from which he never was assigned by his loving God.”

Eze 21:5   "that all flesh may know that I, the LORD, have drawn My sword out of its sheath; it shall not return anymore."'

Divine Commentary –

“My servants know how to hack and harry,

know how to chip and shatter,

know how to bind and loose.

My servants know their weapons of dissolution,

                             know their weapons of dissipation:

know their weapons of the tongue.

My servants know the boldness of My Spirit,

the faith which destroys a fortress,

My word which brings an empire to its knees.”

Eze 21:6   "Sigh therefore, son of man, with a breaking heart, and sigh with bitterness before their eyes.

Divine Commentary –

“My servant goes with a loving heart,

does all he does in love,

knows the compassion of his soul.

My servant sees the pall of bitterness,

                                      the approaching gloom,

                                      the outline of a death.

My servant also blinks at a tear which surfaces,

at a tear founded on a memory,

                                                   at a tear unbidden –

to fall as a teardrop from an eye which weeps.

My servant knows compassion within the circumstance of man.

My servant knows to offer solace to the soul,

                                                             comfort to the spirit.

My servant knows of the need for fellowship in a time of trial.”

Eze 21:7   "And it shall be when they say to you, 'Why are you sighing?' that you shall answer, 'Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass,' says the Lord GOD."

Divine Commentary –

“My servants know the sound of trumpets,

know the music of the dirge.

My servants hear the good news of salvation,

hear the distraught news arising from a prophecy.

My servants use the time of warning to protect from the time of desperation.”

Eze 21:8   Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Divine Commentary –

“My servants seek answers to problems of the moment,

seek solutions to difficulties of the hour,

seek counsel as to how to overcome the contents of a day.

Those who seek their God of Love are never turned away with nothing on their tongue.”

Eze 21:9   "Son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the LORD!' Say: 'A sword, a sword is sharpened And also polished!

Divine Commentary –

“My servants meld My word,

                               recompose My word,

                               select My word:

                                              as a tribute to comprehension,

as a tribute to the market place,

as a tribute to the search by man,

as a tribute to the bending of the truth,

as a tribute of interpretation to soften the ears of man,

as a tribute to the waywardness of man.

My servants know these aspects of My word too well,

practise these aspects of My word too well,

produce to a schedule these aspects of My word:

                                    these,

                                           the epitaphs of their ministries,

                                                                       of their tasking,

of the validity of a vision,

of a calling from The Lord.

My servants too well-know of books of income designed to tickle ears;

are as wafers with no filling,

with no fresh content worth perusal,

with no substance worth the price.

For as the content of a waffle scarcely impacts on the feeding of a life,

so the waffle which surrounds My word neither feeds the spirit nor the soul.

My servants would show wisdom to revisit that of which they do without referral for approval.”

Eze 21:10   Sharpened to make a dreadful slaughter, Polished to flash like lightning! Should we then make mirth? It despises the sceptre of My son, As it does all wood.

Divine Commentary –

“My servants sharpen their abilities,

                               polish their memory of recall,

establish their resources to the fore.

My servants should know the season in which they mature,

                                                           the season of their labour,

                                                           the season of their rest.

My servants should not imperil the basis of their health.

My servants should not procure the gimmicks of the market place,

the items produced for the gullible,

the discoveries with claims which have no standing with respect,

the pitfalls of a pseudo-science which medicates the body without oversight or recourse.

My servants should beware of the knaves which are at home within the market place of man.”

Eze 21:11   And He has given it to be polished, That it may be handled; This sword is sharpened, and it is polished To be given into the hand of the slayer.'

Eze 21:12   "Cry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people; Therefore strike your thigh.

Eze 21:13   "Because it is a testing, And what if the sword despises even the sceptre? The sceptre shall be no more," says the Lord GOD.

Eze 21:14   "You therefore, son of man, prophesy, And strike your hands together. The third time let the sword do double damage. It is the sword that slays, The sword that slays the great men, That enters their private chambers.

Eze 21:15   I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, That the heart may melt and many may stumble. Ah! It is made bright; It is grasped for slaughter:

Eze 21:16   "Swords at the ready! Thrust right! Set your blade! Thrust left— Wherever your edge is ordered!

Eze 21:17   "I also will beat My fists together, And I will cause My fury to rest; I, the LORD, have spoken."

Eze 21:18   The word of the LORD came to me again, saying:

Eze 21:19   "And son of man, appoint for yourself two ways for the sword of the king of Babylon to go; both of them shall go from the same land. Make a sign; put it at the head of the road to the city.

Eze 21:20   "Appoint a road for the sword to go to Rabbah of the Ammonites, and to Judah, into fortified Jerusalem.

Eze 21:21   "For the king of Babylon stands at the parting of the road, at the fork of the two roads, to use divination: he shakes the arrows, he consults the images, he looks at the liver.

Eze 21:22   "In his right hand is the divination for Jerusalem: to set up battering rams, to call for a slaughter, to lift the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to heap up a siege mound, and to build a wall.

Eze 21:23   "And it will be to them like a false divination in the eyes of those who have sworn oaths with them; but he will bring their iniquity to remembrance, that they may be taken.

Eze 21:24   "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: 'Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your doings your sins appear—because you have come to remembrance, you shall be taken in hand.

Eze 21:25   'Now to you, O profane, wicked prince of Israel, whose day has come, whose iniquity shall end,

Eze 21:26   'thus says the Lord GOD: "Remove the turban, and take off the crown; Nothing shall remain the same. Exalt the humble, and humble the exalted.

Eze 21:27   Overthrown, overthrown, I will make it overthrown! It shall be no longer, Until He comes whose right it is, And I will give it to Him."'

Eze 21:28   "And you, son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach,' and say: 'A sword, a sword is drawn, Polished for slaughter, For consuming, for flashing—

Eze 21:29   While they see false visions for you, While they divine a lie to you, To bring you on the necks of the wicked, the slain Whose day has come, Whose iniquity shall end.

Eze 21:30   'Return it to its sheath. I will judge you In the place where you were created, In the land of your nativity.

Eze 21:31   I will pour out My indignation on you; I will blow against you with the fire of My wrath, And deliver you into the hands of brutal men who are skilful to destroy.

Eze 21:32   You shall be fuel for the fire; Your blood shall be in the midst of the land. You shall not be remembered, For I the LORD have spoken.' "
