The Forbearance of God (13.10.12)

“The forbearance of God occurs because the future of man is known from within the present of God.

The forbearance of God is not an asset held by man,

is not suited to be exploited by man,

is not suited to be counted on by man.

The forbearance of God is within His acts of will –

as the future becomes the present,

as the prayers receive their actioning within dependence,

as the blessing of God becomes attributed to luck.

The forbearance of God does not move in circles,

can move from point to point in highlighting an event in progress within the time frame of man,

can rest at ease while events in motion mature at the goal.

The forbearance of God can suffer the deeds of man in silence,

can suffer the words of man in silence,

can suffer the play of demons with His people in silence.

The forbearance of God can be present in the company of the freewill of man,

can be present in moments filled with danger dependent on direction,

can be present with the child of man at play:

where learning turns to caution –

just prior to injury becoming viable.

The forbearance of God is not an usurper of the freewill of man –

except where man binds or looses,

                                                                                       with wisdom and with knowledge,

his freewill unto the will of God –

being prepared both to listen and obey.

The forbearance of God is not an act of laziness,

is not an act of carelessness,

is not an act of procrastination:

is an act of wisdom based on His concern for inter-play in action.

The forbearance of God is not a simulation running to completion,

is not an experiment in real time based on freewill choice,

is not from satanic deviancy attempting to explore.

The forbearance of God accompanies the growth of man,

                                       accompanies the walk of man,

                                       accompanies the discipleship of man.

The forbearance of God is as unto the whistle of the referee held in abeyance –

while the advantage is played out.

The forbearance of God is as a fish left to play upon a line –

so it can safely be retrieved in its own due time.

The forbearance of God is as the leeway left in the line for the mooring of a ship –

so the ship may rise and fall with each tide and not be harmed –

by that designed to keep it safe and tethered through a storm.

The forbearance of God is a blessing in the enacting of a relationship between both man and God.”
