The Growth of Man (9.2.14)

“The growth of man can be measured by improvement in his stature,

can be measured by improvement in his intellect,

can be measured by improvement in his wealth,

can be measured by improvement in his castle,

can be measured by improvement within the situation of his family,

can be measured by improvement of the physicality of man.

The growth of man can be measured by evaluation of his concept of God,

can be measured by evaluation of his objectives in life,

can be measured by evaluation of his attitude to death,

can be measured by evaluation of his relationship with God,

can be measured by evaluation of how he treats his fellowman,

can be measured by evaluation of the spirituality of man.

The growth of man can become stunted in particular aspects of a life,

can place undue emphasis on food,

can place undue emphasis on the means of violence,

can place undue emphasis on gambling,

can place undue emphasis on addiction,

can place undue emphasis on advancement,

can place undue emphasis on slothfulness.

The growth of man can turn from previous belief patterns,

can turn from the foolish and the weird,

can turn from the shallow and the unsatisfying,

can turn from pockets of resistance which impede his will.

The growth of man can be susceptible to change,

can be enlarged by freedom to react,

can be satisfied with solutions to deprivation borne of poverty.

The growth of man sees the sun rise on his growth,

sees the sun set on his maturity.

The growth of man should keep his hormones in nature’s balance,

should trust the original settings for his growth,

                                should not seek to enlarge,

                                should not seek to deflate,

should not suffer from the stretching or the shrinking of the body.

The growth of man is expected to be both physical and spiritual –

the two sides to accompany one another for his well-being,

for the balancing of his self-control,

for the balancing of his social aptitudes,

for the balancing of his walk on his tightrope of life.

The fall of man from his tightrope of life leaves him clutching at the air –

                                                                                                           as he loses his control.

The losing of control is subject to the ingestion of that which fulfils desire.

Ingestion may ultimately leave him huddled in the position found in infancy –

from which he may or may not recover:

                                                                                                                         depending on the dose;

                                                                                                                         depending on the time elapsed;

                                                                                                                         depending on the aftercare.

The growth of man is dependent on his sleep,

                                is dependent on his food,

                                is dependent on his health.

The growth of man should attain the objectives set by God,

                                                     the objectives found in maturity,

the objectives spelt out within the promises,

                                                     the objectives built upon inheritance,

the objectives found within a destiny,

the objectives which reflect the will of God.

The growth of man is neither nurtured nor succoured by the devil,

is not encouraged by the demons,

is solely sought by such in order to shunt man down a one way siding:

where he may stay to have his soul reflect,

                                                                                                                                   with the deepest of regret,

on the absence of his spirit.

The growth of man under the auspices of God is a wonderland filled with encouragement,

                                                                                                              with appointments,

                                                                                                              with exhortations to be bold,

with the spirit captaining the soul –

with both willingly supporting the body in its present tasks.

The growth of man is on the platform prepared for kings,

is on the platform waiting for the whistle,

                                is on the platform with the call of ‘all aboard’;

is in the carriage as the thrilling journey starts in earnest,

as views unfold in visions of what is to come to be,

as the carriage of My Spirit transports to the fields of satisfaction:

where the trainload is made most welcome –

with the thirst of each forever quenched.”
