The Invitation to The Dance (3.10.12)

“The invitation to the dance is for the joyous and the free with the timing for the feet,

                                                                            with the timing of the beat,

                                                                            with the timing seen to move My stalks of wheat.

The invitation to the dance is not of entertainment,

                                            is not of a distraction,

                                            is not of a scene for watchers from the sidelines.

The invitation to the dance is for the ardent worshippers,

                                            is for those shifting gears with exuberance,

                                            is for those seeking fresh avenues for the expressions of their temple.

The invitation to the dance is for the dancing on the avenue of praise,

                                            is for the dancing on the high way of high praise,

                                            is for the dancing which satisfies the soles of the feet,

                                            is for the dancing of the spirit hand-holding with the soul.

The invitation to the dance is approved of God,

                                            can be accepted by the heart without an outward sign,

                                            can be limited to the tapping of a finger or to the tapping of the toes.

The invitation to the dance can be accepted by the nodding of the head,

                                                                      by the swaying of the body,

                                                                      by the jump and the skip,

                                                                      by the waving of the hands,

                                                                      by the gyrations of the soul breaking free to rejoice in dance.

The invitation to the dance invites wisdom:

                 in the perceiving of the shock waves of the dance with unison in action,

                                             of the shock waves on the footings which may have seen better days,

                                             of the shock waves stressing on their building with each leap in faith by all the gathered saints.

The invitation to the dance is a joy unto The Lord.”
