The Responsibility of God (13.10.12)

“The responsibility of God lies within His being.

The responsibility of God lies within His creation,

                                          lies within its existence,

                                          lies within its care.

The responsibility of God lies within the oversight of His works of grandeur,

                                                                                  of His works of life,

                                                                                  of His works of statuary.

The responsibility of God lies always with the canopy of truth,

lies always in the fields of love,

lies always with the reliability of presence.

The responsibility of God dwells within His promises,

dwells within the words of His prophets,

dwells within the words proclaimed in righteous faith on His behalf.

The responsibility of God includes the internal upkeep of holiness within the temples of His people.

The responsibility of God is to oversee the call-outs seeking service –

when a critical component is registered for attention through the faculty of prayer.

The responsibility of God extends deeper than is thought;

extends throughout the body of man –

                                                       throughout the gamut of man:

extends to the depth of every soul,

extends to the guidance of every spirit –

all those which are included in the creative responsibility of God –

all those within the safety net of prayer –

all those dependent on the coverings implicit in the covenants with God –

all those held closely within the family of God –

all those depending on the promises of God –

all of man sheltering under the umbrella of the grace of God.

The responsibility of God is greatest with the life forms,

is less so with the statuary,

is more so with His active fronts where His progressive will displays.

The responsibility of God is serious and deserved,

                                          is forthright and reserved,

                                          is present and observed.

The responsibility of God steers and engenders,

                                          inspects and encourages,

                                          completes and enlivens.

The responsibility of God invites and disciples,

                                          teaches and attends,

                                          prepares and fulfils.

The responsibility of God tracks the statuary within the firmament,

examines the fly-bys of the earth,

counts and enforces all the days of life.

The responsibility of God measures and adjusts for waywardness of influence,

assesses the safety of each plot,

ascribes wonder and much interest to the sky-field of man.

The responsibility of God extends to the ultimate control of Satan with his legions besetting man.

The responsibility of God is His benign interaction within His family of man,

                                                                                   within His bride of destiny,

within His promise of eternity –

whether in the light of presence –

or in the darkness of solitude.

The responsibility of God is set for all eternity as stated by the standing of His word.”
