The Prayers of The Just and Unjust

“The prayers of the just do not stand,

                                       are not recorded in the Book of Life,

                                       have no authority before the Lord.

The prayers of the just,

                               those who do not know the Lord,

                               waste their breath with prayer.

The prayers of the just are not heard by the angels.

         For when the just come before the Lord in prayer they cloak themselves with their own righteousness,

                                                                                                                 their own justification.

The just are not justified before the Lord,

              will not be justified before the Lord,

              shall not be justified before the Lord.

The just should find the gate that justifies all those that enter through.

       The prayers of the unjust are first heard as cries of repentance to the Throne of Grace.

       The prayers of the unjust are then recorded,

                                                are then answered,

                                                are then celebrated.

       The repentant prayers of the unjust justify in faith,

                                                                acknowledge in brokenness and accept in humbleness.

The unjust are then justified in the sight of the Lord.”
