The Divine Commentary on The Book of Revelation - Ch 06 (28.12.10)

Rev 6:1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.”

Divine Commentary –

“The sentinels of God do not issue invitations.

The sentinels of God have the backing of authority.

Foolish are they who disobey the sentinels of God.”

Rev 6:2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

Divine Commentary –

“Each horse is a colour of significance to man.

The rider,

         with purity of intent,

is armed with a bow for which the arrows are encountered on his journey as a herald,

are supplied as they are needed,

are never found to be in short supply.

The crown is the head-dress of the overcomer who goes forth to overcome the darkness:

to so release the arrows of The Spirit into the hearts of man,

to so ignite the rhema as the arrow tip of the firebrand:

so it may sparkle into brilliance,

as each becomes embedded in the target for the spirit and the soul.”

Rev 6:3 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, "Come and see."

Divine Commentary –

“As the seal is opened,

so is the command so issued:

                                so each aspect is complete,

so each aspect is written as it is,

so each aspect portrays the truth of vision.”

Rev 6:4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

Divine Commentary –

“The warmonger of the nations rides the warhorse of the nations:

the steed who has no need to eat,

who is at home in the fields of blood,

who knows where to step to avoid the splatter,

who knows when to gallop to stay ahead of carnage,

who knows the way to safety when the rider is under threat.

The warhorse of the nations rarely sees the putting out of fires,

often sees the enhancement of the conflagration.

The rider of the fiery horse has the support of many,

has the support of nations with a common interest,

has a weapon of destruction which kills with excessive speed –

which mangles and truncates the arms and legs of man,

which is the broad sword of the battle field:

the great sword unleashed without a scabbard which knows rule by decree,

the swishing sword of terror which is very rarely seen,

the sword which cannot be carried when seated on the horse,

the sword which only he who sits manoeuvres,

to watch as through a window,

as the scything destroys the peace –

pits man at each other’s throat.

For as the one who sits upon the horse is granted the authority to remove peace from the earth,

so is he supplied with the great sword he cannot lift.

Woe to those who fund,

who so establish the record of the grant:

to enable the sword to so impale,

                                                               to so run through,

                                                               to so run over,

                                                               to so mutilate –

                                                                               the hapless,

                                                                               the helpless –

as the one who sits watches,

                                                                                              safely from a distance,

the mayhem to be so laid before his door.”

Rev 6:5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.

Divine Commentary –

“When the seal is opened,

John is called to see –

to see the black horse and he who sits on it –

a merchant of commodities when shortages are to the fore,

                                         with his tools of measurement,

prepared to attend at the white market of the day,

the black market of the night –

where the black horse does vanish under the cloak of darkness.”

Rev 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."

Divine Commentary –

“So the merchant’s cry is heard in the shouting of his goods,

so the merchant’s call is heard in the preparation of the oil and the wine –

                                                                                             not to be adulterated,

                                                                                             not to be diluted –

as the sentinels of God have him within their jurisdiction.”

Rev 6:7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see."

Divine Commentary –

“As these seals are opened so each sentinel of God speaks forth on the seal of interest,

                                                                                                       on the seal appointed,

on the seal as opened by The Lamb.”

Rev 6:8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

Divine Commentary –

“Beware of the pale horse and they who sit thereon,

as made known in the vision of My servant,

                                                                             John.

For death and hell are to reign in unison over a fourth of the earth –

with hell acting as the repository for the souls of the dead as collected from the catchments –

                                                                                                                                    the death zones –

                   of the earth:

of those slain by the evil sword of man wielded without respite,

of those dying of starvation by design,

of those dying by wasting with the balm kept out of reach,

of those dying as prey to the beasts of the environment when protection is withdrawn.

Such as these did not fulfil their intended destiny:

as they had their lives cut short,

as they had their souls sequestered prior to the knowledge of the offering –

the offer of acceptance for a journey into the realms of light.”

Rev 6:9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.

Divine Commentary –

“When I opened the fifth seal I saw John,

                                                     My beloved,

looking under the altar in the throne room at the souls:

slain as martyrs to the patriarchs,

slain as martyrs to the cross.

There,

John saw how close I keep the slain of testimony and of the word to My heart in love.”

Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"

Divine Commentary –

“I hear their crying out in concern for justice they perceive as of undue delay in being granted;

                                                                                                                       so they will be answered.”

Rev 6:11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

Divine Commentary –

“The white robe is spotless,

is as pure as the driven snow,

is as clean as the dawning of the day before the souls awake.

The white robe is a special robe,

is reserved solely for the martyrs,

is called The Robe of The Martyrs –

                                                                    which no-one else may wear,

which has an appearance which no other robe can match,

which signifies commitment even as unto the cross.

So the slaughter of those martyred continues to this day,

continues for a season in which Satan has his say,

in which Satan has his way,

in which Satan will so slay –

the servants of the living God.”

Rev 6:12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

Divine Commentary –

“As John saw the sixth seal opened,

so a great earthquake is revealed:

in the time of the blackening of the sun,

in the time of the reddening of the moon.

Those with wisdom,

              for the season,

are to read of the positioning of the earth,

are to prepare to view the heavens filled with the smoke of the earth.”

Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.

Divine Commentary –

“Those with wisdom are to expect to see the earth within a shower,

are to expect to see the earth under a shower:

the showering of the earth is an event of grandeur which will be long remembered by the eyes of man.”

Rev 6:14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

Divine Commentary –

“As the sky recedes,

              so the stage is set,

              so the clouds are furled,

so the curtain of eternity is lifted as a veil from the eyes of man.

So the land masses of the earth are re-positioned to bring the rain where needed,

to bring new rivers to the earth,

to bring new currents to the seas,

to bring rebirth to the lands of slumber.

All this shall surely be with the coming of The Day of The Lord.”

Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,

Divine Commentary –

“For such as are not known to God,

              such as they seek refuge:

wherever found to be at hand,

whenever the signs of God are evident before the playpens of the earth.”

Rev 6:16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

Divine Commentary –

“So is their desperation borne with the fear of God,

            without the fear,

                     the reverence,

                            for God.

So as their mouths declare,

so the words are uttered in despair,

so repentance does not fall from any lips,

so does the falling of the mountains and the rocks answer the words of man.”

Rev 6:17 "For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"

Divine Commentary –

“‘Only My servants’, says The Lord.”
