The Benevolence of Grace (31.12.11)

“The benevolence of grace is offered freely without recourse for sin,

                                            is offered freely from a heart of perfect love,

                                            is offered freely so man need not fear the law.

The benevolence of grace is offered freely to the open heart.

The benevolence of grace is offered freely to man in his mortality,

                                                             to man while still a sinner,

                                                             to man while still estranged from God,

                                                             to man while still a felon awaiting judgment.

The benevolence of grace is offered freely to every soul,

                                                            is awaiting acceptance of the offer,

                                                                         is the decider of the fate of man.

The benevolence of grace is offered freely as it lies,

                                                            as fare upon a table,

                                                                         for the partaking of man.

The benevolence of grace is offered freely,

                                                            as announced,

                                                                         for the attention of man.

The benevolence of grace is offered freely –

                                                            in the best interests of man –

                                                                         an offer the soul of man is unwise to decline.

The benevolence of grace is offered freely,

                                                            as the ultimate,

                                                                         in a loving covenant issuing from God.”
