“The coming of The Lord is not very far away.
The coming of The Lord sanctifies the earth.
The coming of The Lord is met with trepidation,
is met with nervousness,
is met with faces gazing downwards.
The coming of The Lord does not deserve a downcast face,
will not warrant the fear of the unknown,
will not be the basis of rumours of ill intent.
The coming of The Lord signifies a time of celebration,
a time of fulfilled expectation,
a time of uprooting the embedded claws.
The coming of The Lord brings prior closure for intending converts,
for procrastinating thieves,
for all who waited to jump into a clear decision without the aid of faith.
The coming of The Lord removes the choice of grace from man,
locks a destiny in place selected by his own freewill,
leaves man without a mercy seat on which he had a right to sit.
The coming of The Lord justifies the faithful,
seals the handshake of creation,
honours all those with trust placed in a covenant.
The coming of The Lord redeems the promise of eternity,
the words of the prophets who dwelt close to the heart of God,
the scriptures declared -
transmitted over time -
for the longevity of faith.
The coming of The Lord will be with company from heaven,
will be a royal occasion,
will bring a matching Banner to the one here instated on the earth.”
