10 I Shall Walk The World

1. I shall walk the world so long as it is day,
For as the day draws close and some remain un-swayed,
I shall talk the world whenever there’s a ray:
There should be no regret of what has not been laid.
Ch For times are changing. Yes! The times are a-changing!
New beginnings come! Setting all bells a-ringing!
New times arriving! Songs of promise a-singing!
2. If clouds o’er take me how can I ever say,
As the night creeps in and showers all with its rest,
“The day’s nearly done and I have lost my way.”
So the dreams will speak: an offering to the blest.

3. Soon the dawn will rise, accompanied by hope.
For no souls must be lost, too valuable to ‘botch’.
Then the fight is joined by those who will not mope.
All to be made ‘at home’ while it is still my watch.

4. This day I just know I am about to shout
For a soul with promise: of value and great worth.
Now I’m all equipped: with ‘good news’, there’s no doubt.
It’s for the highest stakes, I’m set to search the earth.

5. At times of greeting, with customs to the fore,
The ears hear happiness with laughter loudly now;
Then the reign of joy is there behind each door;
Each home echoing truth that brings the waist to bow.

6. I shall walk the world; a new tongue on my lips.
For when the tongue does speak, the Spirit clears the strife.
I shall talk the world to those who take but sips,
Then all is well within: the onset of new life.
