“The footsteps of the angels leave no imprints on the earth which are visible to man.
The footsteps of the angels do not step on the residues of sin.
The footsteps of the angels do not step at random,
step carefully after much inspection,
step according to the placements born of much experience.
The footsteps of the angels put no weight upon the living,
never cause the tarnishing of a temple,
never leave a trace upon a mirrored surface.
The presence of the angels leave traces of accompaniment on the record of each soul,
on the record of the open surface of the waters of the earth,
on the record of companionship with a soul spent at the time of transition from mortality.
The presence of the angels cluster round the subjects of their missions,
the subjects of their care,
the subjects destined for promotion.
The presence of the angels do come in bands,
do come in echelons,
do come in hosts,
never come in hordes.
The presence of the angels have assignments that are holy,
have assignments that are sacred,
have assignments to tasks attributed to the ages.
The presence of the angels indicates attention to the active will of God,
to the progressive will of God,
to the prophetic will of God.
The presence of the angels swirls dust within a sunbeam,
twirls smoke resting within a clearing,
billows mist when all is calm.
The presence of the angels are seen by the perceptive,
are acknowledged by the righteous,
report with joy when the object of a greeting.”
